Nathan Umberger | Adult Discipleship Pastor, Elder

Nathan Umberger serves as Adult Discipleship Pastor and Elder at LifeHouse, where he loves connecting with people and helping them grow in their faith, understand God’s Word, and live out what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life.

Nathan and his wife, Ashley, have been married for 15 years and have called Delaware—and LifeHouse—home since 2021. Before God called him into ministry, Nathan spent 20 years working as a civil engineer in transportation and construction, while also spending time as a sports official.

Nathan came to know Christ in 2012 after a fellow football official invited him to church. There, he heard the Gospel clearly, recognized his need for a Savior, and surrendered his life to Jesus. That experience continues to shape his heart for helping others know and follow Christ.

Outside of LifeHouse, Nathan enjoys reading, fitness, hiking, traveling, and exploring God’s creation. He’s also a big baseball fan—he’s visited 19 of the 30 Major League Baseball stadiums and hopes to make it to all 30!
