Michelle Cooksey I Children’s Ministries Coordinator

Michelle Cooksey serves as Children’s Ministries Coordinator at LifeHouse, where she helps coordinate the Serve Team and has the opportunity to connect, fellowship, and serve alongside so many people in our church family. It’s a role she doesn’t take for granted and one that has allowed her to build relationships with people she may not have met otherwise.

Michelle grew up attending a small Baptist church in New Jersey and was “in church” for most of her life—but she says it wasn’t until her family came to LifeHouse in 2012 that she began to understand the difference between simply knowing about Jesus and truly living for Him. Since then, her faith and relationship with Christ have continued to grow.

Michelle is married to Kirk, and together they have three daughters, Taylor, Madden, and Karsen, two sons-in-law, Christian and Aiden, and a granddaughter, Rowan.

What does Michelle hope people experience when they come to LifeHouse? Her answer is simple: “JESUS. He changes everything.”

And two things you won’t find her volunteering for? Cooking or anything involving bugs!
