Herb Welday I Outreach & Missions Director

Herb Welday serves as Outreach & Missions Director at LifeHouse, where he loves encouraging and equipping people to go beyond the four walls of the church and share the hope of Jesus with others.

Herb grew up around the church and came to faith in Jesus at a young age through the faithful love of a family who shared the Gospel with him and pastors who faithfully taught God’s Word. After some wandering during his middle and high school years, Herb returned to his faith after high school and has continued learning what it means to faithfully follow Jesus through every peak and valley of life. Today, that story shapes his passion for helping others know Jesus and equipping the church to share Him with the world around them.

Herb and his wife, Stephanie, have been married for nearly nine years and love playing board games, cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends. He’s also a Baltimore Ravens fanatic, an avid reader, and hopes to one day have a library that rivals Charles Spurgeon’s!
