Danny Mattes I Student Director
Danny Mattes serves as Student Director at LifeHouse, where his heart is to see students develop a bold, confident, and authentic relationship with Jesus—one that goes beyond simply knowing God’s Word to living it out in their everyday lives.
Danny grew up in a Christian home, but it wasn’t until his high school years that his faith truly became his own. While attending a summer camp, God gave him a deeper desire to follow Jesus and eventually called him into vocational ministry. For more than a decade, Danny has been investing in the next generation through student ministry, teaching, and coaching.
Danny is married to his wife, Rachel, and together they have three children: Ty, Nico, and Scotlynn. When he’s not at LifeHouse, he loves making memories with his family—whether they’re at the beach, snowboarding, playing soccer, cooking together, or having a family movie night.
A few things you might not know about Danny: he has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and runs on Red Bull, coffee, and Jesus… not necessarily in that order!
