Bill Ivers I Facility Manager

Bill Ivers serves as Facility Manager at LifeHouse, supporting the staff, volunteers, children, and ministries that use our building each week. He loves knowing that even the tasks that may happen behind the scenes play an important part in helping our ministries share the Gospel and make disciples.

Bill’s own LifeHouse story began in September 2014. After years away from church, he found himself searching again and decided one Sunday to visit LifeHouse, which was meeting in a local middle school at the time. When a friend asked him the next day how his visit went, Bill’s response was simple: “I found my home.” His wife, Sharon, joined him the following week, and they were baptized together in 2015. Bill began serving on the Setup/Teardown Team shortly after and continued until LifeHouse moved into its current building.

Bill and Sharon have been married for 34 years and have two children and two grandchildren. He’s an avid New York sports fan and especially loves the Giants.

And apparently, Bill makes some pretty amazing gluten-free desserts—and what he claims may be the best potato salad in Delaware. We’ll let you be the judge!
